Domestic water softeners

The hardness of water is defined by calcium and magnesium ions dissolved in it. Water hardness causes the occurrence of limescale which significantly weakens the efficiency of central heating and domestic hot water (DHW) installation. Hence, the assembly of a water softener seems to be the most effective and economical solution.

REMOVAL OF HARDNESS, IRON AND MANGANESE

Appliances for treatment of water from own intakes that remove iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, and what is more, soften water. A huge advantage of multifunctional systems is possibility of installing a single column, which considerably lowers the cost of installation and exploitation, in contrast to traditional methods where many different appliances must be used. The filter bed is regenerated by means of a brine solution.
